About the Author Michael Pender is the Founding Pastor of Fallbrook Church in Houston, Texas, where over 4,000 families gather each week for worship and sound teaching. He was raised in the Bronx, New York and moved to Houston in 1985 where he continued his education at Houston Baptist University. Pastor Pender believes the greatest model for leadership is found in Jesus Christ and therefore believes in servant leadership. He believes that his calling is to be a good shepherd over the sheep entrusted into his care at Fallbrook Church. Pastor Pender is married to Janice Foreman Pender.
